The largest town in Cateran Country is Blairgowrie, which is also the starting point for travelling up the Snow Roads (A93) into the high mountains of the Cairngorms National Park and walking the famous Cateran Trail.
You can explore the many small towns and villages in the area such as Alyth, Coupar Angus and Meigle, as well as the rolling farmlands of Strathmore and the dramatic mountain scenery of Glenshee and Strathardle. Cateran Country is easily accessible via road, airport and rail.
We're about 1.15 hours north from Edinburgh, 30 minutes north from Perth and Dundee, 1 hour south west of Aberdeen, 2.5 hours south of Inverness and 1.5 hours north west from Glasgow - so we really couldn't be much more central or a better base for touring all over Scotland.
Around 90% of Scotland's population live within a 90-minute drive of Cateran Country. Put simply, we couldn't be more conveniently located.
Furthermore, we're only an hour's drive from Scotland's European ferry port at Rosyth.
