Dundee is less than 15 miles from the southern borders of Cateran Country and is easily reached by car or bus.

The city will soon be the home of the first branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum based outside London. It is also the home RRS Discovery, the ship used by Captain Scott on his famous Antarctic expedition, which is next to the V&A.

The nearby, the Sensation Science Centre makes science fun for children with all kinds of interactive
exhibits. While Verdant Works tells the story of the city's working people from when it was famous for producing the 3 J's - Jute, Jam and Journalism. Dundee is now famous for computer games development and digital design.

The nearby Broughty Ferry had more millionaires per square mile than London in the nineteenth century.

The water front in Dundee is undergoing a major regeneration, the jewel in the crown being the V&A Museum, the first design museum in Scotland. Dundee will present a great day out for families who use Cateran Country as a holiday base during their stay.
