Introduction

I design and make a range of silverware as well as jewellery. Most of my silverware is “hand raised”. This is a traditional technique of producing form using basic hand tools.

I work the flat sheet of silver over steel tools or “stakes” using a raising hammer to produce a form, each one being unique and I aim to make pieces which are attractive to look at but also feel good in the hand.
